Merry Christmas – from the Phillips family 2025

What a full year 2025 has been! Not only of Phillips Tile & Stone projects but of Phillips family life.

We’ve had a year of multiple surgeries at the beginning of the year and learned God made our bodies uniquely resilient, not because the healing process of easy but because fueling and caring for our bodies became extra important. We’ve had injuries, slow work and said lots of prayers! Overall, I’d say it’s been a trying year. We still have a lot to be thankful for!

While the projects might not have been booked out as far as they regularly are, we continued to have steady work for our subcontractor’s and Phillips Tile & Stone.  We partnered with professionals who knew how to help us overcome injuries. We grew because of it.  I say all of this because this really is a small, family business. Every injury and illness, the company feels, too. Our subs are like family to us and it’s a joy to help them provide for their families. So, the stress can be real, as business owners. God continued to provide projects, medical professionals and guidance to help us get through the valleys. So, while 2025 was one for the books, we remain steadfast because our faith is in an unwavering God. If you’re tired of hearing about our faith, sorry. I think owning a business has only grown our faith.

Michelle’s highlights for the year would be: watching our kids excel in music, continue to grow in different sports, finding out we were voted 2nd in our category at Best of Omaha, becoming a GetOut pass sales rep (my discount code is TileTime10), seeing David at Sights and Sounds Theater, creating Teen Turf Time at Genesis Health Clubs.

Trevor’s highlights for year would be: Having his boys accompany him on projects to help and learn the construction process, providing more General Contracting services, expanding our partnerships within the building community, our end of summer cabin trip, and coaching/watching our kids play all the sports.

It’s been a full year. We are so thankful. Thank you for utilizing Phillips Tile & Stone for all your tile, stone, LVP, LVT, carpet, General Contracting and hardwood needs. Trevor loves helping his customers create and then install a space they will use for decades to come. That is the installation goal! Merry Christmas and we hope you have a very happy New Year!
