12 Days of Christmas & a Christmas letter!

Dear family and friends,

Since this business of ours is an extension of US, I thought I’d write our family Christmas letter on here. 🙂

2018 has been a year of great highs and some lows. It’s been a full year, a year of growth on a personal, family and spiritual level.

Our children started another year of homeschool. It is a glorious thing to learn together and that is what we do. Elias is in 2nd grade, Ethaniel is in Kindergarten, Ezekiel is in preschool and Elsie is learning right along with us all. We’ve participated in drum, piano, art and violin lessons as well as baseball and soccer. The boys are also involved in Awana, Community Bible Study and love their Sunday School classes. We are busy and we love it! Being with friends is our favorite.

Phillips Tile & Stone continues to amaze us. We are in our 8th year of business owning and we continue to make Omaha beautiful, one commercial and residential space at a time. We look forward to 2019 and are very busy wrapping up jobs and office work for this year.

A glimpse of one our completed jobs this year.

Trevor and Michelle had the joy in traveling to Hawaii so Trevor could be apart of his good high school buddy’s wedding. We were there for a week (Elsie tagged along) and we loved exploring the Island. We sure missed our kids but man, it was hard to adjust back to Midwest living for a bit! We need an ocean closer to Nebraska!

The boys started a business of their own this year called Phillips Tile & Crafts! They’ve had fun creating beautiful and functional pieces from leftover construction materials. It has satisfied this desire of theirs to earn money and to create. All day, everyday…they are making something. Whether it be from cardboard or paper, they are tiny makers!

A few pieces they made.

This year brought much joy and smiles but also heartache as we experienced a miscarriage. My heart goes out to those who have lost loved ones this year. Life is sweet and should be celebrated, that is why I chose to include little Erin in our Christmas letter. Erin means Peace. God has granted peace to our broken hearts and we thank the many who have prayed for us. I pray you know the peace that only God can give. We serve a good and gracious God, even when life is difficult. We have a HOPE that we will one day see little Erin again. If you don’t know of this Hope, we’d love to tell you.

We love you all and are thankful to have such good family, friends and clients in our lives. Thank you for choosing to utilize our services. When you refer a friend to Phillips Tile & Stone you are supporting our family. When you share a picture, or a business card or wear our t-shirts, you are supporting our family and it means the world to us.

Merry Christmas!

Love,

The Phillips Family
